SSCAIT 2014
Overview
The Student StarCraft AI Tournament 2014 is a tournament, organised by SSCAIT for students of artificial intelligence (AI) and/or programming, who develop those skills while coding an AI player for Brood War. Non-students and teams also participate, but they are not eligible for certificates.
The student division was a round robin of 861 games, in which each participant played two matches against every other participant. Martin Rooijackers (University of Maastricht) won with 111 points, ahead of Soeren Klett (96 points, Universität Bielefeld) and Dave Churchill (96 points, University of Alberta), who was ranked lower on the head-to-head tiebreak. The mixed division was an elimination bracket of the 8 best bots. See the official SSCAIT 2014/15 page.
